Biogas technologies for the agricultural sector
For the utilization of waste for the purpose of obtaining biogas and subsequent generation of electric and thermal energy, various types of technological solutions are used, depending on the type of feedstock. Ecodevelop offers reliable and proven technology solutions:
Wet fermentation. It is used for the utilization of raw materials, which has a high level of moisture and is easily fermented (cow and pig manure, silage, energy crops, waste products of alcohol, sugar, juices, etc.). The process of biogas formation takes place in stationary concrete fermenters, by anaerobic digestion in various temperature regimes with a moisture level of 85-95%.
Dry fermentation. It is used for the utilization of raw materials that have a low level of humidity (bird droppings, organic debris, waste products of agricultural products with low humidity, etc.). The process of biogas production by anaerobic digestion at different temperature regimes occurs both in stationary concrete or steel fermenters. And in modular mobile structures. The humidity level is 50-75%.
The raw materials for biogas plants are:
Waste from poultry farms
Cattle farms (cattle)
Slaughterhouse and meat processing enterprises
Waste of sugar plants
Waste of alcohol and ethanol plants
