70 MW OF BIOGAS PLANTS PUT INTO SERVICE IN UKRAINE
At the time of October 2019, 45 biogas plants with a total capacity of 70 MW were put into service in Ukraine! According to the State Agency for Energy Efficiency Ukraine, 47 MW of them work on agricultural waste; and 23 MW on landfills.
By installing biogas stations and producing biogas you can:
– recycle the waste of your agricultural enterprise;
– generate energy for their own needs;
– receive highly effective organic fertilizers;
– create your own non-volatile enterprise;
– reduce the volume of landfills;
– replace gas consumption;
– reduce harmful emissions.
For Ukraine, this direction is very promising, because there are a lot of organic waste in our agricultural enterprises.
To stimulate the development of bioenergy in Ukraine, in 2015, a “green” tariff for electricity from biogas was introduced at the level of 12.39 eurocents / kW*h.More details – in “Green tariff for electricity from biogas”.
In general, due to the “green” tariff for the 3rd quarter of 2019, an additional 2,661 MW of renewable energy capacity was installed.
Ecodevelop is confident that the competent use of bioenergy technologies can become the key of success for our country!
